Had the Ravens not secured the receiver’s extension before the deadline, they would have faced a $1.7 million salary-cap penalty in dead money, via Baltimore Ravens. Consequently, he would have been thrust into free agency as well. However, by finalizing the extension, Agholor will continue to be a part of the Ravens’ offensive arsenal.

The 30-year-old star’s journey in the NFL spans multiple teams, starting with the Philadelphia Eagles. Following his tenure with Philly, he had stints with the Las Vegas Raiders and the New England Patriots before joining the Ravens last year. His addition to the Ravens’ roster last season marked an early move by General Manager Eric DeCosta.
