Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany shine in stylish New Year celebration hours after QB led Chiefs to comeback win over Bengals

It’s been anything but smooth sailing for the Kansas City Chiefs this season. With players marring themselves in controversies and star athletes receiving plenty of media attention due to their romantic affiliations, Andy Reid’s men have found it difficult to string together a good run out on the field.

However, everything has come good in the last few weeks as the team makes their final push for the playoff berth. And with the win against the Cincinnati Bengals in the bag, players like Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are now looking to spend some quality time with their romantic interests.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany celebrate New Year 2024 in style

Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany have held the NFL power couple spot for quite a while now, and only recently were they usurped by the celebrity pairing of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. But that has not stopped the Mahomes family from bringing in the new year in style. In fact, judging by the pictures uploaded by the couple on Instagram, this might be the most stylish NYE celebration you will ever see.

Patrick Mahomes claims Chiefs’ goal is consistency heading into playoffs

With the win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Kansas City Chiefs have secured their spot in the playoff scenario and have also clinched their eighth-consecutive division title. Solidifying their position as the rulers of the AFC West, the team now heads into the postseason with a lot of confidence.

According to most of the players, they would like to recreate the magic they had this time last year as they brought the Lombardi Trophy home. However, Patrick Mahomes is more focused on getting the basics right and playing each team on their merit. In a recent interview, he talked about his personal goals heading into the playoffs.

“I mean, obviously, the season hasn’t been – we’re not winning this in Week 12 or Week 13 like we have before,” Mahomes explained. “We had to battle through adversity and find a way to win this game, but it’s not over. We have to continue to get better and better. We understand that.”

“Kind of the motto of this season at the end of it has been a good game and a bad game, so how can we sustain and get stuff going and continue to build off this momentum and get that momentum going into the playoffs? Like I said, now you’re in the playoffs, it’s one game single elimination, and I think we can go out there and compete with anybody.”
