Since being founded in 2019, All Elite Wrestling, also known as AEW, has taken the wrestling business by storm and is arguably the second biggest company behind WWE. One of the major reasons for WWE to be the biggest promotion is the presence of Vince McMohan in the company which continues to establish itself as one of the best sporting organizations across the globe.
While both are professional wrestling promotions, they tend to have their differences in terms of creativity, business practices, and talent on offer. However, recently AEW broke the ticket sale record of WWE with a huge event, and former WWE superstar Big Show who is currently in contract with AEW knows exactly how Vince McMohan would react.
Big Show reveals Vince McMahon’s reaction to All In success
Current AEW and former WWE star Paul Wight aka Big Show has commented on Vince McMahon’s reaction to the AEW All-In at London’s Wembley Stadium. As someone who has worked with McMahon for a long period, if anyone knows how Mr. McMahon would be reacting to today’s big AEW event’s success, Paul Wight is someone who’s on that list.

Speaking with “Inside The Ropes”, Paul Wight said: “Oh, well, I think he’s pissed. I think he’s pissed, but he’s pissed in a good way. He’s the type that likes competition. He likes that challenge. Vince (has) very much (an) animal, jungle-type mentality. Vince is a guy who thrives on competition or thrives on doing new things, thrives on being the best in his mind at what he does, so when competition steps up, that fires Vince up more than anything.
“The worst thing that can happen to Vince McMahon is to be bored, and monotonous, you know? If he’s got competition, it fires him up to be better, which is a win for the fans because they’ll get a better product, and it’s good for us because we produce a better product, too.”
All In broke WrestleMania 32 record
AEW is hyping up “All In” at Wembley Stadium in London as “The Biggest Event in Wrestling History,” and there are some facts in advertising the event like that. According to the reports of WrestleTix, the company has distributed 80,846 tickets for the Aug. 27 show, which topples the record set by WWE’s WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
The new record may not stand for long if WWE or AEW run another PLE of similar scope, as business is booming for both companies.

According to Friday’s report of Action Network’s Darren Rovell, 90,000 tickets have already been sold for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. Granted, that event is split over two days in April 2024, and the distribution across each day is unclear. In general, the expected attendances for All In and WrestleMania 40 reflect how it’s a great time to be in the wrestling industry.
