Santos was easily defeated by Romero in a lackluster fight via unanimous decision.

Bellator continued their winning ways as Vadim Nemkov, the light heavyweight Bellator champion, submitted former PFL heavyweight champion Bruno Cappelozza in a heavyweight bout. This was followed by a catchweight bout between Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson and former PFL welterweight champion Ray Cooper III, which Jackson won via a leg kick finish.

The co-main event of PFL vs Bellator: Champs was the closely contested fight of the PPV in which Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen eked past against PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay via split decision in a middleweight bout.

Mike Tyson and Francis Ngannou spotted at PFL vs Bellator Champs event

The PFL vs Bellator: Champs PPV had combat sports royalty in attendance as former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou were in attendance. Moreover, current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones was also in attendance as he donned the traditional Saudi Arabian attire.

Tyson Fury was present at the event with the task of presenting the customized belt to the winner of the champ vs. champ fights. Francis Ngannou had previously expressed his intention to challenge the winner of the main event between PFL and Bellator champions. However, Ngannou’s focus is currently on his upcoming boxing match against Anthony Joshua, the reigning boxing heavyweight champion.

During the event, Francis Ngannou had an interaction with Jon Jones, during which Jones predicted his own victory in a potential match against Ngannou. Jones also expressed confidence in defeating Stipe Miocic in his upcoming fight, as well as Tom Aspinall, the interim heavyweight UFC champion, in future bouts.
