R-Truth reveals the name who lobbied in his favor for inclusion in the Judgment Day storyline

The R-Truth and Judgment Day storyline is filled with comedy and funny segments, kicking off at Survivor Series in 2023 when Truth returned to WWE and began asserting to be a member of Judgement Day, led by the Money in the Bank holder, Damien Priest.

Truth also won the loser leaves Judgment Day match on Raw against JD McDonagh but still he is not accepted as an official member of the faction. Recently on a interview Truth opened up about the Judgement Day member, who supported his involvement to the faction.

R-Truth reveals who fought to keep him with the Judgment Day

On tonight’s Monday Night RAW, WWE announced a tag team match between The Miz and R- Truth vs The Judgement Day. Before the match Truth made his presence to the Busted Open podcast.

He said, “I was happy. I was ready to get out of the house and go back to the sport that I love. When they said I was working with Judgment Day, I was like, ‘Let’s do it. What are we doing?’ They could have said I was working with anybody and I was ready.”

Later in the interview, Truth was asked about his involvement in the storyline. Truth answered by saying, “I will say Damian Priest, he was like, ‘Bro, we should keep you around. This thing is working.’ He actually went to, I think it was Triple H and the writers. Damian Priest fought for it.”

Truth confirmed that he was surprised to learn about WWE’s plan to involve him in the Judgement Day storyline. Initially, he believed it was a concept devised by the writers and WWE creative team, but later discovered that it was Damien Priest’s idea to include him in the storyline.

Finn Balor shares update on R-Truth’s standing with the Judgment Day

Last week R Truth broke the record of merchandise sales, when he topped the merch sales for WWE in January, beating CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, who were the leading merch sellers for last two months. Truth’s new t-shirts with Judgement Day logos and texts helped Truth to become the top seller.

On today’s Monday Night RAW, before the tag team match between R Truth and The Miz vs The Judgement Day, Truth went to Finn Balor and started to give him lots of money from his pocket. Balor was angry to see the actions of Truth, but he convinced Balor by saying that these were the shares he got as a result of merch sales.

After the match, on the locker room, the Judgement Day members were surprised to see a lot of money. Balor said, “I gotta be honest… @RonKillings is growing on me.” It is clear that the Judgement Day members were really happy to see the result of Truth.

Truth has clearly made an impression on all members of Judgement Day, except JD McDonagh, who did not get his share as he was not a member after losing the match. The storyline is still ongoing, and it remains unclear how it will conclude or whether R-Truth will ever become a legitimate member of Judgment Day.
