After kicking off the season with a close win against the Denver Broncos in a nail-biting game, the Las Vegas Raiders soon found themselves on a losing streak. Fortunately, the losing streak of Mark Davis’ team came to an end after their 17-13 win over the Green Bay Packers in their Week 5 game.
Even though the Raiders won the game that night, they were powerless to win over the team’s owner. While Davis usually stood by his team players, on the night of the victory, he was seen shouting at them after they made a terrible mistake.
Mark Davis seems outraged with Raiders on-field decision
The Raiders kicked a field goal from 26 yards during the second quarter of the Raiders vs. Packers game, but contrary to having excellent field position at the Packers’ seven-yard line after the turnover, Las Vegas couldn’t manage to score. Before going three-and-out and kicking the field goal, they even lost a yard.
Mark Davis, who is well-known for his ardent support for his team, expressed his displeasure with the field choice and appeared clearly angry. When the broadcast switched to him, he was overheard exclaiming, “What an a**hole.”
Meanwhile, you may have noted that throughout the show, the Raiders’ owner’s renowned bowl hairstyle appeared shorter than usual.
In their second season under Josh McDaniels’ leadership, the Raiders were only 7-14 as of Monday. The Raiders had lost their previous three games in a row before the victory over the Packers, and the crowd at the stadium instantly conveyed their unhappiness with McDaneil’s coaching abilities by calling for the head coach to be fired as soon as possible. Mark Davis, though, closed the door as he was spotted telling the audience to “smarten up.”

Forbes estimates that Mark Davis’ net worth will be $1.9 billion in 2023. However, other sources put it at $2 billion and yet another at $250 million.
The Raiders have seen significant change since Mark Davis, a well-known American billionaire, took over from his late father as general partner and owner. Following his father’s passing in 2011, Mark and his mother, Carol, now hold 47% of the franchise.
He started working for the team’s equipment and merchandising division in 1970 before inheriting the business. In addition to being the Raiders’ owner and general partner, he also owns the Women’s National Basketball Association’s Las Vegas Aces.
His net worth places him among the richest persons on the planet, and the Raiders’ revenue increase is a major factor in this. The franchise was valued at $6.2 billion according to Forbes’ most recent list of NFL franchises. Among the 32 teams, it ranks sixth.
