Raquel Rodriguez, a professional wrestler, performs on the Raw brand of WWE. She holds the distinction of being a former NXT Women’s Champion and a record-breaking three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Notably, she is the daughter of the legendary WWE wrestler Ricky “Desperado” Gonzalez. Following her recovery from an injury in July 2023, Rodriguez achieved several Championship victories on WWE RAW. Recently, she revealed that she has been diagnosed with a new medical condition that may persist throughout her entire life.

Today Raquel Rodriguez posted a video on her official Instagram account to shared the details of her condition saying, “Whats up guys Happy New Year. In the month of December it got worse and I am recently been diagnosed with a condition called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Basically I was red, swollen and there was a lot happening in this area.”
She also added, “Physically it kept me from doing the things I love like travelling, going to the gym and wrestling. Also I didn’t want be on camera and I didn’t wanna look into the mirror. I understand that all of those things can mess with someone with both emotionally and mentally.”
At last Rodriguez added, “And I know they are gonna last far ever, but i promise they are not. this is gonna pass. I will share more on my healing journey later on when I have a better understanding of what’s happening but for now I love y’all and Happy New Year.”

Rodriguez made her debut to NXT in 2020 and teamed up with Dakota Kai, forming an unstoppable duo. In April 2022 Rodriguez made her highly anticipated debut on SmackDown as a singles superstar. She teamed up with Aliyah to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
