Diggs embroiled in offseason controversy following heated exchange last season
Diggs lost his cool with Allen after their unfortunate playoff loss to the Bengals with the veteran WR having only four catches for 35 yards. He was later caught on camera shouting and making a gesture at Josh. The 29-year-old was seemingly frustrated for not being targeted on a number of key offensive plays, leading to a disappointing defeat to end their season.
Buffalo’s WR was absent on the first day of the mandatory minicamp, albeit his signal-caller clarified there is no such issue and instead, the team’s coach is in constant touch with the football giant.
“He doesn’t show up for one day, he’s still there, the coach asked him to go home, they’re in talks, they’re trying to resolve some things. They’re still talking about it. Let it go. There’s no reason to continue talking about it.”
Fortunately, Diggs didn’t disappoint his fans as well as teammates for a long time. After participating in the Bills training camp on Wednesday, he took the podium and clarified on several ongoing rumors regarding his relationship by saying they share no beef.
