Recent picture shows Dominik Mysterio breaking kayfabe in Rey Mysterio interaction

Dominik Mysterio has been making a name for himself recently as a heel character. His persona as a member of The Judgement Day and his relationship with Rhea Ripley have won hearts all over the world. WWE fans have expressed their support for ‘Dirty’ Dom several times and expect to see him surpass his father, Rey Mysterio, in the near future

A little while back, a picture was shared on social media where Dominik Mysterio was seen breaking the kayfabe by interacting with his father, Rey Mysterio, which left some fans confused.

Dominik Mysterio spotted with HOFer father in Vegas

Dominik Mysterio recently surprised fans when he was spotted with his Hall of Famer father Rey Mysterio in Las Vegas. Rey has been rarely seen in WWE since November 2023, as he took some time off due to undergoing surgery to repair a damaged meniscus. The father-son duo was first clicked at the seafood restaurant CATCH Vegas near Las Vegas, Nevada. Fans were surprised by the picture, as Dom had an intense fight with his father a while back.

The restaurant was the first source to post the picture of both Mysterios. The picture showed Rey without his iconic mask and Dom in a happy mood when fans swarmed them for pictures. The restaurant manager posted the picture captioned, “Great seeing Dom and Rey Mysterio tonight!”. Although this surprised fans as it broke the kayfabe, it was still a happy and heartwarming moment for the fans.

Dominik heading to WWE Elimination Chamber despite loss

Judgement Day member Dominik Mysterio has come a long way as an athlete. From a beginner to being one of the most loved-to-hate wrestlers in the Stamford-based company. In the latest edition of SmackDown, Dom faced off against Kevin Owens in a qualifying match for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Unfortunately, ‘Dirty’ Dom lost against KO after he got distracted by R-Truth and Owens used that to use Super Kick him and his finisher, the ‘Pop up Powerbomb’.

Although Dom lost his chance to attend the Elimination Chamber match, he still made it clear that he would attend the event. The 26-year-old star made it clear in a SmackDown exclusive on February 16 that he will be there to support his faction members who are scheduled to face their opponents at the Perth event.

Dom said, “I may have not have qualified for the Chamber, but Dirty Dom is still gonna be in Perth supporting Judgment Day because Finn and Damien are gonna stay undisputed Tag Team Champions. Rhea is gonna wipe the floor with Nia Jax in her home country and I just can’t wait to be by their side and celebrate because Judgment Day runs all”.

WWE fans are excited to see the event at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. With Rhea Ripley and Niz Jax facing off for the Women’s World Championship against Finn Balor and Damien Priest defending their undisputed Tag Team Champions, fans are eager to see how the faction performs in the February 24 event.
