Recent Seth Rollins announcement raises questions over his WWE future, leaving WWE fans in splits

WWE’s Visionary Seth Rollins has been the face of RAW for a long time. Ever since winning the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions, Rollins has proved to be a fighting champion. However, all that may come to an end soon, as The Drip God talked about his injuries and was unsure of his future in wrestling, on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.

For the past decade, Seth Rollins has been one of the top superstars of WWE. From his time in The Shield and The Authority, to accomplishing multiple accolades as a singles competitor, he has done it all. He defeated AJ Styles at Night of Champions to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion and is currently feuding with The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Seth Rollins reveals his struggle with health

According to The Visionary, his injuries seem to be getting worse day by day. On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins discussed about the injuries that have been nagging at him for years. In a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond, Rollins said that he is unsure about his future in WWE and doesn’t know how long he can continue to wrestle with his injuries getting worse day by day.

This is not the first time that Rollins has opened up about his injuries. On an episode of IMPAULSIVE in July, The Drip God discussed his injuries and talked about how he has been dealing with them for years. “My knee’s been bugging me since before WrestleMania. I was having issues with that. My neck’s been acting up, my lower back has been at me since 2019. Probably should get some surgery on that, but trying to just do whatever I can to make sure I don’t need it because I have a couple of stress fractures back there”, said Rollins.

Rollins further said that he underwent stem cell treatment for his injuries while working a full-time schedule in WWE. He admitted that it was not a permanent fix and could only provide short-term relief from his injuries. Seth Rollins is without a doubt one of the most hardworking wrestlers in WWE. His segment on RAW this week has raised some concerns about his future in the company. This could potentially lead to Rollins going on a long-term hiatus. Despite his injuries, Rollins would be back in action against Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Payback next month.

Rollins envisioned NFL career following WWE endeavors

Although fans may rest knowing that The Visionary might stick around for a couple of years more in WWE, some may find his next endeavor after retiring from wrestling to be quite unexpected.

Seth Rollins

While appearing on Jimmy Traina’s SI Media podcast, Rollins was asked about his plans for his future after retiring from the world of professional wrestling. The Visionary revealed that once he hangs up his boots in the ring, he is interested to become an analyst in NFL. Apparently, Rollins is a huge fan of the NFL and it’s one of the things he is really passionate about. He further says that after his wrestling career, if anybody would have him on their show, he would be really grateful.

Seth Rollins has had an illustrious career in WWE. He is the last member of The Shield who’s still a full-timer in WWE and it would certainly be a huge blow to the company of Rollins had to step away from the ring due to his injuries. Fans hope that he recovers as soon as possible and wish him the very best.
