Rhea Ripley is very selective when it comes to choosing members for her faction, Judgment Day. The faction seems to only accept individuals who have the potential to be a heel in the promotion. However, they have been overlooking a potential candidate who is trying hard to fit in with the heel faction.
The team has discussed this new candidate’s inclusion in their conversations, but it appears that his efforts have not been reciprocated. However, it seems that Ripley is currently considering him as her stablemate, and perhaps things have changed for him.
Rhea Ripley confirms WWE star’s Judgment Day status
Although she denies that Judgment Day has a leader, Rhea Ripley is undoubtedly the one in charge of the intimidating group. As the current Women’s World Champion, she recently emphasized this fact and also confirmed that one of the faction’s current members is indeed a part of it.
JD McDonagh became a member of Judgment Day before the Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 Premium Live Event. However, his status in the group came under question when R-Truth challenged him. They had a no-disqualification match on an episode of Monday Night Raw, with the loser having to leave Judgment Day.

Unfortunately, McDonagh lost the match to Truth. Despite that, McDonagh is still a member of the faction, as confirmed by Ripley during a live edition of the “Notsam Wrestling” podcast. An audience member brought up the Loser Leaves Judgment Day match, prompting Ripley to officially confirm McDonagh’s status.
“I’m pretty sure Mami makes the rules, and JD is in,” said Rhea Ripley.
Is R-Truth officially in Judgment Day?
Judgment Day is one of the largest factions in WWE. Recently, this stable has been showing up at various WWE events and has been taking over the roster. This has sparked rumors that a new member may be joining the group soon. However, Rhea Ripley has expressed her opposition to the idea of R-Truth joining her stable.
Judgment Day wanted R-Truth to join the fun that was already going on, so he had a match with JD McDonagh where they were supposed to switch places. Truth won that Miracle on 34th Street Fight. However, during WWE’s 2024 Preview Special, Rhea Ripley was asked about R-Truth’s status with Judgment Day. Ripley is tired of hearing about R-Truth and doesn’t want to talk about him anymore.
“I’ve had it up to here with R-Truth. He’s not on Judgment Day; We’re not looking at Truth right now, and he’s trying to weasel his way in. He’s breaking into our clubhouse, and that’s not okay. You just can’t sneak into our clubhouse. He’s putting himself into all the things we are working so hard for. Coming out to the Judgment Day music? To me, he thinks he’s a part of it, but we have never signed off on that. We have not discussed this. We have not come to the agreement that R-Truth is on Judgment Day. So far, he is not,“ said Rhea Ripley.
