The Royal Rumble 2024 has been a hot topic among wrestling fans lately, and R-Truth has been at the center of it. Despite the love he has received from WWE fans, Judgment Day leader Rhea Ripley was not impressed by his antics.
The Women’s Royal Rumble Match took place tonight, with Bayley emerging as the winner, securing her spot at WrestleMania 40. During the match, Truth made an appearance when it was Valhalla’s turn. However, he was mistaken and thought he was a part of the match. Nia Jax eventually threw him out of the ring, ending his brief stint in the ring.
Rhea Ripley rips at R-Truth
At this year’s Royal Rumble, while the WWE Universe cheered for R-Truth, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was not impressed with his behavior. In the Women’s Royal Rumble match, R-Truth mistakenly entered the ring, assuming he was a part of the match. However, Nia Jax threw him out when it was her turn.
Later that night, R-Truth made his official entry into the Men’s Royal Rumble Match as the 24th entrant. As he entered the ring, he caught JD McDonagh off-guard and threw him into the ring. However, Jey Uso quickly eliminated McDonagh, which caused frustration for the rest of Judgment Day.
R-Truth got confused and forgot the rules, so he begged Dominik Mysterio to tag him in. After a hot tag, he managed to take down Gunther, but the Intercontinental Champion countered and eliminated him moments later. Following this incident at the 2024 Royal Rumble, Rhea Ripley expressed her disappointment on X/Twitter about R-Truth’s actions, writing, “Wow, Truth… WOW, #RoyalRumble2024.”
R-Truth enters women’s Royal Rumble match
Ever since his return to WWE in late 2020, R-Truth has been gaining more popularity and support from fans than ever before. Despite being a wrestler for almost two decades, he has managed to become a part of the villainous group Judgment Day, and some of its members have even accepted him. However, Truth has unintentionally caused The Judgment Day to lose some significant matches.
Yesterday, in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, while Valhalla of the Viking Raiders was making her entrance at number 24, R-Truth interrupted her. Truth rushed into the ring, but he was quickly thrown over the top rope by Nia Jax.
As he landed on the outside, an angry Valhalla approached him, along with WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Pearce informed Truth that he had entered the women’s match, but Truth was still confused and asked for clarification.
