Cody Rhodes is hell-bent on ending his storyline by defeating Roman Reigns in his second WrestleMania run. After Reigns retained the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39, Cody is headed for redemption at WrestleMania 40.
But the chances are now against him since Reigns’ cousin The Rock is on his side. In the ring at WrestleMania, Cody may face his biggest enemies, the whole Bloodline, who will make attempts to stop him from finishing his story.
The Bloodline especially Reigns and the Final Boss has been taunting Cody Rhodes nonstop by involving his family in their fight and beating him badly. The Rock and Roman Reigns recently made a visit on The Tonight Show, where they made a solemn commitment to disgrace Cody Rhodes by closing the book of his story at WrestleMania 40.
Roman Reigns made a bold prediction in the show by stating, “I think Cody is reading the wrong book at this point. We don’t care about his story. It’s funny because you [The Rock] told me this a long time ago. In the wrestling business, there is no call sheet like ‘He’s number one, he’s number two,’ so everybody on our roster believes they are number one.”
The Rock, meanwhile, did something surprising on social media which is evidently an attempt to humiliate The American Nightmare.
