Roman Reigns was once a victim of leukemia. During the Raw episode on October 22, 2018, ‘The Big Dog’ shared the news with fans and later relinquished the Universal Title at that time to battle his sickness. After 126 days, he returned in 2019 and announced his remission from the sickness.

From his participation in promotional campaigns to voluntary work for charity, Reigns consistently did his best for the kids, which later led to him being awarded the Make-A-Wish Chris Greicius Award for Celebrity Wish Granting.

Later a statement was released by the organization, where Roman was praised for his work and how he helped raise a lot of funds for the kids. The statement said, “WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has inspired many wish kids with his confidence and courage both in and out of the ring, especially given the health challenges that he has had to overcome. As tough as his in-ring persona can be, he’s nothing but kind and caring when he spends time with wish kids. Roman has also been incredibly generous with his willingness to participate in promotional videos and campaigns that help raise money to grant more wishes.”
