Roman Reigns schedule: when will the Tribal Chief wrestle after his Royal Rumble match?

Roman Reigns is set for a Fatal 4-way match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on January 27, 2024. The ‘Head of the Table’ will face Randy Orton, LA Knight and the AJ Styles for the title bout.

After the St. Petersburg, Florida event on January 2024, the next pay-per-view is in Optus Stadium for WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth. Recently, it was revealed that there is no match card for Roman in the Perth event. So it is likely that the superstar will be next seen in WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia.

When will Roman Reigns wrestle after the Royal Rumble?

WWE Champion Roman Reigns’ absence in the Elimination Chamber match card surprised fans, as that implied that The Tribal Chief will miss another premium event in February 2024. This is not the first time the 38-year-old star will be missing any PPV event. In 2023 the he missed Survivor Series on November 26.

Dave Meltzer revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Reigns is set to miss 2 major WWE events in 2024. He said, “Roman Reigns is not on the Australia show [Elimination Chamber]. He’s not on the Paris show [Backlash] either, by the way, for fans over there. He’s gonna be wrestling at the Royal Rumble.”

“And then his next big match – he could do a TV match – but he’s gonna wrestle at the Royal Rumble, and then his next match is gonna be his WrestleMania match. And after that, I would presume it’s gonna be Saudi and SummerSlam,” added Meltzer.

According to reports, Roman’s next significant appearance after Royal Rumble will be in WrestleMania 40 in April. While no match card has been confirmed for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Philadelphia event, fans are speculating that Reigns might face ‘The Rock’ at the grand WWE spectacle. The ‘Brahma Bull’ previously challenged Roman for the ‘Head of the Table’ position in the RAW: Day-1 event.

At first, it was predicted that ‘The Great One’ would get to face his cousin in Elimination Chamber: Perth but later it was confirmed that Roman would be absent from the event. Fans are anticipating that the likely cousin vs cousin match might take place in WrestleMania XL.

Will Roman Reigns appear on WWE SmackDown this week?

In last week’s SmackDown Live, The Bloodline members, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa faced the trio of Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles in a handicap match. The match was even at first, with Randy Orton facing attacks from the Bloodline to prevent his participation, but in the end, he made a comeback and pinned Jimmy Uso to secure the victory.

WWE released The Tribal Chief’s official SmackDown appearance schedule last December. The list indicates that Roman Reigns will make an appearance at this week’s blue brand event in Atlanta. Reigns did not appear at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, during last week’s episode.
