Royal Rumble 2024: Who are the current favorites to win?

CM Punk sends a message to Gunther ahead of the Royal Rumble

The WWE Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, took a break from WWE television after the December 18th episode of Monday Night Raw. He made his much-awaited return to Raw this week. During his return, CM Punk referenced an infamous tweet about Gunther. The reason for Gunther’s hiatus was the birth of his first child, which he celebrated with his partner.

On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, fans were thrilled to see Gunther back in action. He delivered a heel promo, criticizing fellow WWE Superstars for their discussions about the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Gunther reminded fans that he was the first participant in last year’s Royal Rumble and came close to winning. He then declared himself to be a part of the Royal Rumble match.

CM Punk recently shared his reaction to the news of Gunther’s participation in the Men’s Royal Rumble on his Instagram story. He expressed sympathy for the other 28 competitors. Additionally, Punk conveyed that he would be seeing Gunther at the Royal Rumble.

“Man…if what I’m hearing is real… poor 28 other guys,” wrote Punk.
