Ryan Garcia claims Floyd Mayweather ‘little mad’ after private information leaked

Ryan Garcia and Floyd Mayweather have been spotted hanging together on several occasions. The friendship between the legend and upcoming talent has never been hidden from fans. But it looks like ‘KingRY’ did something wrong that may have made Floyd angry.

Garcia recently opened up about the factor that led Mayweather to get “little mad” at him for leaking private information to the fans. The information coming out is from Garcia’s former opponent and expected opponent.

Ryan Garcia reveals the reason behind Floyd Mayweather’s anger.

Garcia is claiming to be working on getting the bout official against Devin Haney, which fans expect to take place in April. Regarding this anticipated bout, Ryan Garcia has been interviewed by many news channels. Recently, Garcia opened up about his relationship with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and about his loss to Gervonta Davis. But the twist of fate is that there is an information leak that actually upset the 25-year-old’s friend Mayweather.

On the MMA hour, Ryan Garcia told Ariel Helwani “We’re cool, but I think Floyd Mayweather is a little mad at me for saying some things. Like I’ve seen the video of Devin Haney getting his ass knocked out by Gervonta Davis [in sparring], I’ve personally seen the video. I think Floyd got mad that I said that. Haney is knocked out, almost cold. You got your ass rocked, and you know it. Yes, Floyd showed me.”

The whole scenario is that Mayweather didn’t want the incident of this sparring session to leak to the media. But Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney, being opponents of Ryan Garcia, didn’t want to miss out on the chance to play some mind games, ignoring what Floyd shared with him personally.

Ryan Garcia reflects on the Gervonta Davis loss.

With Ariel Helwani, Ryan Garcia also had a talk about what happened on the night of April 22nd last year that cost ‘KingRy’ his first-ever loss to his career. Ryan fought against Gervonta with a rehydration clause appointed prior to the fight, where at a certain level both fighters were allowed to hydrate their bodies after a weight cut.

Reflecting on the same clause, Ryan Garcia said, “If I won that fight in his position, I wouldn’t be happy. I looked like a straw. You were happy you fought that guy? That’s crazy… Kudos to him; he got the victory, but I feel like I won a spiritual victory.” For a 5-foot-9-inch Garcia, it was a really hard task to maintain a 136-pound catchweight and not allow him to hydrate himself to his maximum potential. Gervonta Davis, who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, has enough fluid running through her body to destroy ‘KingRy’.

What do you think? After Devin Haney, will Gervonta Davis be the next target for Ryan Garcia?
