Ryan Garcia is reportedly to have earned $100,000,000 from boxing after the Devin Haney fight

Ryan Garcia, the former interim WBC champion, is one of the biggest names in boxing, especially in the lighter weight classes along with Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and Devin ‘The Deam’ Haney. Amongst the three, Garcia has a huge following on social media and is also the heartthrob of female fans.

Garcia has already fought Davis, where he suffered his first loss in professional boxing, and is now scheduled to face Haney. The Garcia versus Haney matchup has fans riled up as the two have a history that began in the amateur circuit and this particular fight could see Garcia’s stock rise significantly.

Ryan Garcia to make $100M from boxing after Devin Haney fight

Floyd Mayweather’s success in monetizing his undefeated record to become a top pay-per-view star has influenced how promoters handle new boxers, often protecting their records by carefully selecting opponents. This trend has led to reluctance among some fighters to risk their unbeaten status by facing tough opponents. However, Ryan Garcia stands out as someone unafraid to take on big challenges as he is willing to face all the big names.

Having already fought fellow superstar Gervont Davis, Garcia is set to face another superstar Devin Haney. Garcia has not yet turned 26 and has already made significant finances with the sport of boxing.

“At 25, after this fight (vs Haney), I’m gonna make 80-100 million dollars”, Garcia said in his interview with Jack Alter on YouTube.

A significant portion of Garcia’s revenue from boxing came from his fight with Gervonta Davis where he accumulated $30 million according to Oscar De La Hoya. However, his upcoming fight against Haney is not as big of a bout as Garcia versus Davis was, and thus, the fight purses for Garcia versus Haney might be slightly lower for both fighters.

Nonetheless, a potential fight between Haney and Davis is the most anticipated fight in the lightweight division. Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment in Saud Arabia, has publicly stated his intent to make it happen in Riyadh, but Davis demanded two Ferrari’s for it, and it elicited a stern response from Alalshikh.

Sean O’Malley and Ryan Garcia trade online jabs as fight talks heat up

Sean O’Malley, the UFC bantamweight champion, is one of the biggest superstars in the promotion and his fame skyrocketed after his title triumph at UFC 292 against Aljamain Sterling. Following in the footsteps of Conor McGregor, O’Malley had already called for a boxing match with superstar boxers, particularly aiming for Gervonta Davis.

Interestingly, Davis’ former foe Ryan Garcia recently called for a fight with Sean O’Malley in the UFC via social media. However, Garcia’s challenge came with a condition: he demanded a significant payout from UFC CEO Dana White. O’Malley acknowledged the callout, prompting further interaction between the two fighters on social media.

“I KILL YOU within minutes”, O’Malley responded on Instagram to which Garcia replied, “say less for real set it up rainbow head”.

It’s worth noting that Sean O’Malley has previously claimed he had the ability to knock out multiple boxing champions in a single night if they were to compete in MMA. This claim has led to tensions and feuds with boxers like Devin Haney, Gervonta Davis, and Ryan Garcia in the past.

Nonetheless, O’Malley has a fight scheduled in two weeks against Marlon Vera as the UFC 299 headliner. Moreover, he has already called out Merab Dvalishvili, who tied the longest win streak record at UFC 298, as his opponent after Vera.
