The Seattle Seahawks’ players are set to start their camp on Tuesday while their first on-field work is scheduled for Wednesday. Meanwhile, the team decided to keep their linebacker room star-studded by deciding to keep the veteran Uchenna Nwosu for the next three seasons.
Nwosu started his NFL career after being drafted as a second-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2018 and spent his first three seasons with the team, mostly as a backup before becoming a full-time starter in 2021. Now, he forms an imposing linebacker corps with Bobby Wagner, Boye Mafe, Jordyn Brooks, and Darrell Taylor.

Before this contract, the former USC star inked a two-year, $19 million deal with the Seattle-based team in March of 2022 when he was sitting in free agency. His $10 million-per-year average marked the largest amount the franchise ever gave to an outside free-agent addition.
The 26-year-old returned the team a favor with a career year of totaling 66 tackles, 26 quarterback hits, 9.5 sacks, as well as three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries throughout his 17 games last season.
