Sean Strickland goes off on ‘treasonous wh*res’ in the American government following rift with Navy Seal

Unlike other major sports leagues in the USA, the UFC does not censor or fine its athletes for speaking their minds. This stance of Dana White and the UFC has also created controversy, particularly due to the outspoken remarks of fighters like Sean Strickland and Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington.

Covington’s remarks are often part of an act but that is not the case for Strickland. A self-proclaimed patriot, the former middleweight champion has often created controversy with his views which are considered misogynistic and homophobic. In addition to these, Strickland has also made several offensive remarks about the government and recently about the military.

Sean Strickland fires shots at American Government

UFC CEO Dana White has a strong relationship with Donald Trump, the former US President, and similar is the case for many of the UFC fighters. Sean Strickland recently linked up with Trump and even publicly endorsed him during their interaction in Las Vegas. Nonetheless, Strickland remains a staunch critic of the American government and he made his views known on social media.

“American government is filled with treasonous whores”, tweeted Strickland on X who went on to even state that the actions made by the government deserve capital punishment. “Our founding fathers would be disgusted in all of us for being spineless”, Strickland concluded the tweet further stating his disgust for the head honchos in the government.

Strickland has been extremely critical of the government and also about the multinational corporation as he believes the two to be working hand in hand in eroding traditional American values. Moreover, he has beliefs in conspiracy theories, particularly about 9/11 being an inside job from the American government to support the military-industrial complex.

Strickland has also created controversy with his brutal sparring sessions against people who are not professional fighters. The former middleweight champion sparred with Twitch streamer Sneako at the UFC PI in Las Vegas in which the streamer was left bloodied by Strickland. Unfortunately for Sneako, he was banned by the UFC from entering ever since.

Sean Strickland’s feud with Navy Seal

Sean Strickland’s rant at the American government came after he had a social media beef with US Navy Seals. The American middleweight, in a social media video, proclaimed the superiority of his training session against that of the training session of a Navy Seal which elicited a strong reason from a Navy Seal soldier.

“I don’t see one fucking Navy Seal who could survive a weak of training with me”, Strickland said which as expected offended Navy Seals. Strickland went on to reveal his disgust at hearing about the toughness of the Navy Seals and even vowed to break them if they ever tried training with him in MMA sparring.

“We’ve already proven that any kind of beatdown will not break us but our training will simply end your career Sean”, a Navy Seal veteran provided a stern response to the American middleweight. Moreover, he even went on to state that Navy Seals have taken up souls of humans literally which Strickland has not done but has used as a metaphor.

The Navy Seal concluded his response by saying that Strickland should stick to what he does and that they will stick to what they do best which is to protect the freedom of the US. Strickland got wind of the response and he was not particularly okay with what the Navy Seal veteran said of freedom.

“I’m very pro military but anti government But to say “I protect your freedom” Yall need a history lesson on the federal government”, tweeted Sean Strickland in response and also went to delve into the subject of Edward Snowden, the controversial Whistleblower who leaked the worldwide surveillance program of the US and European governments.
