WWE is conducting the WWE Live Holiday Tour, a series of live events from December 26th – 31st. Todays live event was held at the famous Madison Square Garden, where the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defended his title against the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre.
Rollins won the match and addressed the crowd, and asked them to light up their phones which was the iconic gesture of the Wild Family, who make their entrance with a lantern and fireflies as a tribute to Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee, who were a important part of WWE in the past days and also close friends to Rollins.

Seth Rollins’ tribute to Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee was a heartfelt and respectful gesture, that showed his appreciation and friendship for the two late wrestlers.
Rollins said, “We are packed from the front row to the nosebleeds in the most famous arena in the world. Thank you, Madison Square Garden. There’s just one more thing I gotta do tonight. Today is the twenty-sixth of December. A few years back, my good friend, our good friend Brodie Lee passed away. I miss him. Just a few months ago, we lost Windham Rotunda as well.”
Rollins further added, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, man. So look, here’s the deal. They’re kicking me out of here, we got a curfew. But I’m not leaving this building until you guys light this place up with those fireflies and you sing my damn song so loud Brodie and Windham can hear you, baby. Let’s go, New York. I love you forever.”
This is not the first time Rollins gave a tribute to Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee. On December 12 Rollins paid a tribute to Wyatt after his match against Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura. He also said that he loved Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee, and that they were always on his mind. The fans really loved this gesture from Rollins and chanted, “Thank You Rollins!”‘
Brodie Lee’ wife once thanked Seth Rollins for his kind tribute
On a WWE live event in December 3 held at Rochester, New York, Rollins gave a tribute to Brodie lee by singing a song. He said, “He passed away a couple of years ago about this time and this is really the first time I’ve been here with a microphone in my hand in his city to tell him how much I miss him, and how much I love him.”
Rollins also added, “You know, I just wanted to say tonight was for him. Every single time we’re in Rochester, in my heart, that means we’re here for him. It’s Saturday, and you know what that means. So do your damn thing and sing my song.”
Brodie Lee’s wife Amanda, thanked Rollins for his heartfelt tribute on Twitter. She wrote: “This is beautiful. Thank you @WWERollins.” She also shared a video of the tribute and expressed her appreciation for the fans who honored her husband’s memory.
