The current World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, is getting ready to compete in a pair of matches at the upcoming WrestleMania XL event. On Night Two, he is scheduled to face Drew McIntyre in a championship defense. However, many are eagerly anticipating Night One, when Rollins and Cody Rhodes will team up to take on Roman Reigns and The Rock of The Bloodline.
For The Visionary, WrestleMania 40 is an epic moment he has dreamed of sharing with his 4.3 million followers since 2012. With only one week left, he is ready to make history with his Universe and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Seth Rollins fulfils his WrestleMania dream
With WrestleMania looming closer, it’s official that Seth Rollins will have a double role at the grand event. If he and Cody Rhodes come out on top on the first night, The Bloodline will not be allowed to interfere with Reigns and Rhodes’ bout on the second night. For Rollins, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to demonstrate his star power as he referred recently by sharing a throwback Twitter post.
There are ten bouts that Rollins has participated in at WrestleMania, but this one seems different than previous shows. This kind of excitement has never preceded any of his other performances. Since he has never been officially the main event headliner, the Visionary is keen to shift the narrative this time towards him and improve his 60% winning percentage. The dual role, along with the high stakes, makes WM 40 a potential watershed event for this main event performer.
Getting to the WrestleMania main event hasn’t been easy for the World Champion since he has been sidelined with an MCL injury. Now that he’s back to full health, the main event performer hopes to keep his word and protect Cody Rhodes in the year’s most important event.
However, the Bloodline’s Head of the Table poked fun at the same old post in which Rollins reminisced about his dream achievement. Roman Reigns did not seem to find much relevance in his old Shield teammate’s tweet.
Roman Reigns mocks Seth Rollins ahead of WrestleMania showdown
This year’s WrestleMania is very significant since it is the glorious 40th edition of the event. This is Seth Rollins’s first time in the main event of WrestleMania. So, it’s not just another Mania show for him. With a record-breaking title reign, he’s ready to shine on the grandest stage of all time.
To emphasize its significance to him, the 37-year-old excitedly retweeted a post from 2012 in which he anticipated his main event slot at WrestleMania. However, his old Shield partner Roman Reigns made a lighthearted remark to counter that. Reigns humorously responded to Rollins’ tweet by reposting it with a clever Photoshop trick that made him appear as if he were a newcomer to the main event scene.
Although Reigns makes fun of the Heavyweight Champion, the latter maintains his cheerful outlook on this fantastic opportunity. As Rollins gets ready for his match with Reigns on Night One, he wants to show how strong he is as a champion by performing his famous “Curb Stomp” on the Big Dog’s beard face.
