Superstars from both WWE and AEW, as well as millions of fans, mourned the loss of the legendary superstar. Amidst all this, Seth Rollins uploaded a video on his X account today, where he tried to speak his mind on the unfortunate passing of his friend.

It’s no secret that both Rollins and Wyatt were extremely good friends outside WWE. In the video, The Visionary was at a loss of words. He continued to say that Wyatt was an extremely joyful person and his presence made everyone around him happy.

Rollins recalled a time in 2020 after Brodie Lee’s(Luke Harper) unfortunate passing, he had a conversation with Bray Wyatt. After a heavy and deep conversation, Wyatt told Rollins to go hug his daughter. In the video, Rollins explained that he would not be present at SmackDown for Wyatt’s tribute show, as it would mean leaving his family a day early. He concluded the video by saying that he loved Bray Wyatt and that he would miss him, before signing off and saying that he would see Wyatt down the road.

The storied rivalry of the duo from “The Shield” days to “The Fiend” saga

Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins have a long history together. Their rivalry began during their days in The Shield and The Wyatt Family. They have faced off against each other a lot of times in WWE, with Wyatt even defeating Rollins to win the Universal Championship and taking the title over to SmackDown.

Perhaps their most infamous match took place at Hell In a Cell 2019, where the match ended via referee stoppage when Rollins beat down The Fiend with a sledgehammer. In the few weeks leading to their match at Hell In A Cell, Wyatt undeniably had the psychological advantage over Rollins, as he continued to target The Architect and was focused on weakening his mind before their eventual clash inside the cell. In the climax of their match, a frustrated Seth Rollins resorted to attacking Wyatt with a steel chair, a tool box, a ladder and finally a sledgehammer, after failing to put him away.

Their match was eventually stopped by the referee. However, in the end, Wyatt rose up and attacked Rollins, as if the sledgehammer shots had no effect on him. After their bizarre encounter inside the cell, Wyatt ended up defeating Rollins at Crown Jewel 2019 in a Falls Count Anywhere match and took the Universal Championship with him to SmackDown.

Although they were huge rivals in WWE, the two men definitely shared a special bond backstage. Everyone was devastated by Wyatt’s untimely death, and its effect could be felt strongly at SmackDown last night. We hope that his friends and family find the strength to deal with this heavy loss.
