TMZ Sports went on the field to catch up with the three-time Super Bowl champion, and he quickly made it clear that he has no intentions of entertaining a relationship right now. He appreciated Kim for her brilliant work as a businesswoman and clarified that both of them have a lot going on at the moment.
Sharpe said, “Kim has a lot going on. She is an outstanding businesswoman with what she has been able to do. That family is amazing but I have a lot on my plate. She has too much on her plate as well plus I am too private of a guy so I do not want to live a public life.”
Shannon Sharpe’s statements were a response to Chad Ochocinco, as he was likely responsible for starting the rumor. During a segment on their show Nightcap, Chad had recommended Sharpe to reach out to Kim K and even complimented the idea of them becoming a couple.

During their show Nightcap, Shannon Sharpe narrated a hilarious hookup story that had Chad Ochocinco bursting out in loud laughter. The incident dates back to a time when Shannon did not have a lot of money. He recounted the story where he met a nice lady and asked her out on a date. Even as a broke guy, Sharpe did not forget his gentlemanly manners and was prepared to have a budget-friendly meal of $30-$40.
He had planned the whole scenario of the date in his head and had thought of ordering something lower than what he usually ordered, just in case his date decided to go up. They both had Caesar Salad for the appetizers and then decided to order when the waiter arrived.
His date held the menu and asked, “I am trying to figure out what would go with lobster?” Shannon hilarious replied, “Condoms because if you order that we are having s** tonight.”
Chad started laughing at this explanation and Shannon further continued to explain how his date never ordered a lobster after hearing that and he never saw her again after that date.
