NBA Icon Shaquille O’Neal is arguably the most dominant center to play in the NBA and his experience in that role gives his words a lot of value. He recently shared his views on the feud of Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic ripping Jusuf apart.
Jusuf Nurkic had revealed that he would press charges on Draymond Green for the altercation between them and Shaq was not pleased by his decision. What followed was Shaq slamming Nurkic on “The Big Podcast.”
Shaq blasts Jusuf Nurkic
Shaquille O’Neal is usually a very amusing person who likes to share interesting stories with his audience on his podcast like the time he told his audience about the lost wallet of David Beckham in Beverly Hills.
However, Shaq is also a person who is not afraid of speaking his mind and commenting on topics. He recently expressed his opinion on the Suns player Jusuf Nurkic and his decision to press charges against Warriors’ big man Draymond Green.
Draymond Green recently returned from his indefinite suspension after NBA commissioner Adam Silver talked to him. Green was suspended in the first place after he hit Jusuf Nurkic on his face.
After the aggressive act by Green, it was revealed that Nurkic was considering pressing charges against the Warriors player, a decision that did not sit right with Shaq. Shaquille O’Neal criticized Nurkic for even contemplating pressing charges, calling him soft from the inside.
He reportedly said, “Jusuf ‘Nurkif’ Nurkic or whatever his name is s thinking about pressing charges against Draymond Green. Now I have a problem with it because it shows how soft you are as a big man. You are going to ruin what I created in the Big Man Alliance. The reason why Draymond hit you is because he knew you were not going to hit him back… so for you to think about even saying that you will press charges is soft… You can’t press charges, you got to get your big a** up and hit somebody back.”
Jusuf Nukic pressing charges on Draymond Green?
Shaquille O’Neal delivered a powerful response to Jusuf Nurkic, basing his statements on an article by NBC Sports that claimed Nurkic was contemplating pressing charges against the Warriors’ player. However, in reality, Jusuf had never discussed or threatened to press charges against Draymond, nor does he have any plans to do so in the future.
The Suns’ big man was a little upset after hearing Shaquille O’Neal’s opinions and clarified the matter by responding to him on X (formerly Twitter). Nurkic stated that he had never discussed pressing charges and that people were ‘making s**t up’.
He also emphasized that, as a non-native of the United States, he was not losing money by pressing charges or attending legal proceedings, nor did he have any intention of fighting anybody.
