On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Japanese WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins aka The Architect added a new chapter in their feud. Seth Rollins cut a promo ahead of his title defense against “The King of Strong Style”, who has adopted a more vicious persona recently. Shinsuke Nakamura pulled off a surprise attack on The World Heavyweight Champion.
On the latest episode of the Red Brand of WWE. A pre-taped segment of Shinsuke Nakamura as a ruthless fighter who has promised to exploit Seth Rollins’s back injuries was presented. Japanese superstar Shinsuke mentioned Rollins’ wife and revealed how brutally he plans on breaking the world champion’s body at Payback next week.
To this, Seth Rollins also delivered a pretty interesting promo as he spoke about the Japanese superstar’s legendary performances. But while he was holding the mic in his hand, Nakamura caught him by surprise with a Kinshasa to the back, followed by a kick in his face. Shinsuke seems to have the upper hand in the ongoing rivalry.

In WWE Payback 2023, Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura will face off against each other. Nakamura and Rollins will compete for the World Heavyweight Title on the line on a card that also features Rey Mysterio, Austin Theory, Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch, and many others. The mega event will take place at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburg, on Saturday, September 2.

Seth and Shinsuke’s feud started on an episode of WWE Raw. Rollins accepted Nakamura’s offer to be part of his team for the six-man tag team match. And the heavyweight champion helped Nakamura win on the night. However, after the fight, Nakamura hit the World Heavyweight Champion with a Kinshasa.
In that post-match drama, Nakamura continued a verbal confrontation against Seth Rollins and demanded a title match. Rollins also accepted the offer. The champion said he would face the Japanese superstar at any time and anywhere, with his title on the line. As a result, we now have an exciting contest for this weekend’s Payback card with both fighters looking to get one up on their rival.
