“Shut the f*** up, b****”: Nate Diaz backs former rival Conor McGregor after Jake Paul disrespects the Notorious and his wife

In the past, Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor had animosity during their time in the UFC. However, when YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul insulted McGregor and his wife, Diaz sided with the Irish superstar.

Nate and Paul are set to face each other on August 5 at the Dallas American Airlines Center. Leading up to their matchup, there has been a significant amount of chaos and controversy surrounding the event.

Nate Diaz blasts Jake Paul over his comment on Conor McGregor and his wife

Initially, Jake Paul challenged Conor McGregor during one of his Instagram sessions. However, Conor never really gave much clout to the former Vine star, so ‘The Problem Child’ took the hostile path.

In his vile rant, Jake said, “Good morning, Conor McGregor — I know you’re probably beating up old dudes in a bar right now, or maybe you’re jacking off because you’re sick of f–king your wife. I mean, she’s a four, Conor — you could do a lot better. Our team sent you a $50 million offer this morning … the biggest fight offer you’ve ever been offered, but you’re scared to fight me, Conor.”

During a recent appearance on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk podcast, Nate Diaz expressed his strong disapproval of Jake Paul’s behavior. Diaz mentioned that Paul has been making harsh comments about various combat sports personalities, including Conor McGregor’s wife, which did not sit well with him.

“He was talking s— to Conor, talking s— to Conor and dissing his wife and s—? Some real disrespectful stuff that he shouldn’t have been saying. And nobody’s saying s—.” Diaz said.

The UFC veteran firmly seems to believe that Jake needs to be taught a lesson and put in his place. The former MMA fighter even stated that he thinks he can defeat Paul, implying that he’s ready to take on the YouTuber-turned-boxer and show him what real fighting is all about.

“I’m the one who said ‘Shut the f— up, b—h. I’ll whup your ass. Have some respect.’ You’re gonna disrespect somebody’s wife and stuff like that who would actually whup your ass? To get a fight like that, that suppresses the fight game.” Diaz added.

Looking back at the rivalry between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz

McGregor and Diaz have had a long-standing feud, despite Diaz showing support for McGregor in the dispute against Jake Paul. They fought twice in 2016, with each winning one fight, and fans have been eagerly anticipating a trilogy bout to settle their rivalry once and for all.

Rumors have been circulating that Nate is willing to face the Irishman in the UFC again, aiming to put an end to their rivalry after dealing with the YouTuber-turned-boxer in his debut boxing match.

Their first encounter at UFC 196 was a major upset, as Nate shocked the world by defeating Conor. Just five months later, the former two-division UFC champion had his revenge when they faced off again.

As of now, The Notorious is ‘reportedly’ preparing for a fight against Michael Chandler later this year, while the Stockton native is not under contract with the UFC.
