Steelers fan paid Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris to brutally diss OC Matt Canada: “Get the f*** out of Pittsburgh”

The Pittsburgh Steelers offense is in trouble once more this season after struggling with it last year under the direction of offensive coordinator Matt Canada. The squad’s offensive performance ranks 32nd in terms of points scored and 31st in terms of yards gained in both of their games so far this season.

He was already in the firing line among the supporters after this string of failures. But lately, well-known actor Dean Norris, best known for his role as Hank in the hit television series “Breaking Bad,” joined them to deliver a message in favor of the team’s supporters.

Not only is the Pittsburgh team’s offensive lineup having a difficult season, but since Canada assumed responsibility for the offense, these lineup’s shortcomings have drawn notice. As a result, the team’s supporters frequently yelled at him and demanded that Canada be sacked.

However, once Norris released a video encouraging the same wish of the Steelers supporters, all the fans’ latent yearning emerged into the spotlight. According to reports, a Steelers fan paid for a customized video message on the Cameo platform and asked actor Dean Norris to lambaste Canada.

Then, Norris revealed the wish of a fan named Mitch in a nasty message to the Pittsburgh team’s OC saying, “Hey, I can’t tell Matt Canada, he has a similar haircut to me, you know we have a kind of a bomb, we balding guys. But I’ll tell you what Mitch has something to say, he needs you to get the f**k out of Pittsburgh.”

Hank from Breaking Bad also confirmed that the fan made a sly jab at Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin because he continues to believe in his offensive coordinator despite his consecutive losses.

“Mitch says the Pittsburgh Steelers need to fire Matt Canada, Mitch also says that you’re riding Mike Tomlin’s n**s and you call terrible plays on the offense. So, Mitch got a bone to pick with you Matt, and hope this works out between you guys.”

In 2020, Matt became a member of the Steelers, taking on the role of quarterback coach. Later, in 2021, he was given the position of offensive coordinator. The club hadn’t amassed 400 yards in a single game up to that point.

Steelers fans are not happy with OC Matt Canada on the team

The Steelers kicked off the season with a devastating loss to the San Fransico 49ers. Though they bounced back in the next game and secured a 4-point win over the Cleveland Browns, the night was also horrible for the team’s offensive lineup.

While Mitch found his contentment by sharing his message through the popular actor, and other fans of the team took another initiative to lessen the tenure of Canada in Pittsburgh through a petition. Over 1,200 people signed the petition to “Fire Matt Canada – Incompetent Offensive Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers” in the first 14 hours.

“For years now, we have witnessed a lackluster and predictable offensive strategy that fails to adapt to different defensive schemes. Matt Canada’s inability to be creative and innovative in his play-calling has hindered our team’s success on numerous occasions. It is evident that he does not possess the qualifications necessary to run a competent, effective, and complex offensive system,” the petition read.
