Stefon Diggs’ brother Trevon goes off on Bills, claiming WR is not ‘being utilized’ properly under Sean McDermott

If there’s one team that has blown hot and cold for the entire season up until now, it has to be the Buffalo Bills. Under the tutelage of head coach Sean McDermott, the team has struggled to keep the form going and suffered heartbreaking defeats at regular intervals.

Their performances this season have all but ruled the franchise out of the playoff contention hopes, something that wasn’t expected with players like Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs in their ranks. Diggs’ brother Trevon also belongs to the school of thought that the Bills left much to desire. Let’s find out more.

Trevon Diggs blasts Bills for poor utilization of Stefon Diggs

As is the case with the majority of the NFL community at this point in time, Trevon Diggs is not at all happy with the Buffalo Bills’ utilization of his brother Stefon. He is of the opinion that the WR should’ve been involved in more plays and the team should’ve been set up keeping his strengths in mind.

Moreover, Trevon also blasted his brother’s head coach, Sean McDermott, for not being able to figure out the best way to use Stefon Diggs. He tweeted, “Stef has a unique skill set that isn’t being utilized. Should get 10 plus targets every game. Idc bout nun else. Who wan argue today.”

Netizens soon started to agree with Diggs’ statements and unleashed a barrage of comments for Sean McDermott and the Bills’ support staff. One user commented, “He could have put up 200 if Dak was his QB,” while another quipped, “Bring him to Dallas Tre,” as a sly dig at the Cowboys management in an attempt to bring the brothers together next season.

Stefon Diggs lackluster performances under Sean McDermott

This season has probably been one of the hardest ones for Stefon Diggs ever since he joined the league in 2015. It has to be said that under Sean McDermott, the 30-year-old has not hit the ground running and that has resulted in the Bills suffering a few defeats that should’ve ended differently.

Since the Bills front office is reluctant to let go of McDermott in the offseason, it is increasingly likely that Diggs will leave the franchise in search of greener pastures. However, on the off chance that he does stay next season, the Bills will have to find a way to extract better performances from their star WR.
