Wade, a Heat legend, who significantly contributed to the team in his career, was left stunned and at a loss for words upon hearing about the newest member of the Heat camp. The reporter informed Jaime that he was just a couple of games away from tying Dwyane Wade for the record of most consecutive games in double-figures by a Heat rookie.

After learning this Jaime replied, “Oh S***! Ah, I can’t say that… yeah I mean… I don’t even know It’s just a crazy statistic um you know just to be mentioned in the same center as a name like that is an honor.”

Former Heat player Dwayne Wade set the record for most consecutive games in double digits by a rookie in the Miami Heat with 15 games and Jaime has the potential to break it, he currently has a record for 13 games with double digits.

The Miami Heat Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. is impressing all the Heat fans with his performance lately. Despite being a rookie he has been a consistent player who can score in double digits for the team when needed.

In the match against the Chicago Bulls, he scored 18 points and collected five rebounds. Heat went on to win the game with a final score of 118-116 with Jamie having a game-time of 35 minutes. This great form of Jaime Jaquez Jr. is very beneficial for the rookie as it increases his value for the remaining season.
