The Judgement Day faction has been causing trouble everywhere they go. They are infamous among all other tag teams in WWE, continuously doing notorious kinds of stuff in and out of the ring. However, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley got the taste of their own medicine in the most recent episode of NXT.
The North American champion was having a title match with Dragon Lee. Rhea Ripley was outside the ring in support of her love interest and also WWE legend Rey Mysterio was there in support of his son’s opponent. Though Dominik was able to get the victory but it was at the cost of humiliation.
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are irritated by NXT stars
In the latest episode of NXT, Dominik Mysterio retained his North American Championship against Dragon Lee. However, the events that happened after his title match did not sit well with his Judgement Day faction member Rhea Ripley, aka The Eradicator.
During the climax of the fight, Ripley struck Dragon Lee’s head with her Women’s World Championship belt, allowing “Dirty Dom” to make use of the situation with a Michinoku Driver for securing victory. After a few moments, Lyra Valkyria made an entrance in the scenario and hit Ripley with a vicious Black Mass, and Dragon Lee took this opportunity to deliver his signature Thrust Kick on Dominik.
After the incident, Rey Mysterio, who was near the ring supporting LEE, posed with Valkyria and Lee as “NXT” went off the air.
In a post-match interview, Mysterio and Ripley appeared and made it clear that Lee and Valkyria are not aware of the consequence of the fiasco they did.
Rhea Ripley, with an irritated face, said, “As for Lyra Valkyria, I came here and told everyone she was a badass, I believed in her, I gave her some advice, and what does she do? She disrespects me and my Latino Heat … You don’t want to make Mami mad. And that’s exactly what she has done.”

The interview ended with Ripley telling Mysterio that “NXT” was different during her tenure, and that Valkyria and Lee need to be taught some lessons. It appears WWE might be building up a Ripley and Mysterio vs. Lee and Valkyria mixed tag team match for the upcoming major event “NXT Heatwave” event on August 22.
Dominik Mysterio takes a sly dig at his father Rey Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio is on a successful run as one of the most popular heels in the New Generation Era of WWE. Fans of WWE Universe witnessed the close father-son duo, Rey and Dominik together in the ring until Dirty Dom did betrayal at The Clash at the Castle. The fans were left speechless with the incident happening.
At WrestleMania 39, Rey emerged victorious in his revenge battle, yet Dominik continues to take a dig at Rey almost every week both in and out of the ring.
In a recent backstage interview with WWE, Dominik Mysterio has taken a slight dig at his own father after successfully defending his title against Dragon Lee in NXT.
“I am the greatest luchador that has ever lived, I am the greatest NXT North American Champion ever and I beat Dragon Lee tonight with my deadbeat dad aside.”- Said Dirty Dom at the beginning of the interview.
