WWE superstars put their lives at risk every time they step into the ring. However, it appears that there are also unexpected dangers outside the ring. The Miz was reminded of this fact during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
In a social media video, The Miz revealed that he was trapped inside his locker room. It’s unclear what caused the issue, but the door was jammed shut, and none of the attempts to open it were successful. Even after several people tried to break him free, he remained stuck inside.

The Miz appeared unfazed by his confinement in the locker room. However, he couldn’t help but smile at the situation he found himself in. The former WWE Champion had traveled all the way to San Jose, California, for Raw this week, but he never expected to be trapped in his locker room. He had simply shut the door behind him, but the room had other plans and refused to let him out.
The Miz revealed that he had spent only about ten minutes in the room before recording his video. However, it was a worrying situation, as he was unable to leave the room. While hearing people attempt to break him out, The Miz mentioned that his appearance on Raw this week was uncertain. It all depended on whether he could get out of the room. He had access to a television and water, so he could at least watch the show if they were unsuccessful in their rescue mission.
“I’m stuck in an 8×6 room in the arena on Monday Night Raw. What is happening tonight? They can’t get us out. It’s an 8×6 room, and it’s like being stuck in an elevator, only it’s a real room. That door does not budge. It’s a metal door, and that lock doesn’t work. We tried it. I tried pulling the door off the hinges. Doesn’t work. Not strong enough. Thought I might be. Am not. People tried kicking the door down. Doesn’t work. We don’t have a hammer or nail to get the hinges off the door. Can’t do that. I might not make Monday Night Raw,“ said Miz.
Bayley and former WWE talents react to the Miz’s ordeal
The latest episode of WWE Raw started off with some uncertainty after it was disclosed around an hour before the show that The Miz might not be able to attend the event. Although he was present backstage, it was confirmed that he was confined to his room, which was much smaller than what he was accustomed to. A few people were working to help him get out of that situation.
After an hour of watching Raw, there was still no update from The Miz regarding his release from the room where he was locked up. However, Bayley seemed to take some responsibility for the incident, as it occurred in her hometown of San Jose. She wrote, “San Jose huh….I wonder what could’ve happened…….”
It would be a hilarious prank if someone like R-Truth was behind it, as he has made a career out of this sort of thing. However, it appears to be a legitimate accident, and The Miz may miss his slot in the show if he isn’t found in time.
