The Lakers faced off against the Clippers and LeBron James emerged as the hero of the game. A feat that he is used to repeating throughout his career. His performance and leadership inspired the team to secure the win in overtime. Tatum could not hold back and had to express his admiration for the beloved NBA legend.
Jayson Tatum hails LeBron James
The Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum could not contain himself after witnessing a stunning performance by the Lakers ace LeBron James against the Los Angeles Clippers. Tatum took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his views on LeBron after he witnessed the thrilling match. He tweeted out, “The s**t Bron is doing is ridiculous lol.”
Tatum himself is one of the best players in the NBA and exceptionally fulfills the role of a power forward for the Boston Celtics. He has been in the NBA for quite some time acquiring fame and becoming one of the highest-paid players in the league. His appreciation of LeBron is a great example of sportsmanship and also promotes positivity among the players in the league.
Lakers beat Clippers
The Los Angeles Lakers faced the Los Angeles Clippers in game Week 2 of the NBA. The match was a thrilling experience for the fans as it was a neck-to-neck competition for the entirety of the game. LeBron James was crowned as the hero of the match because of his spectacular 35-point game that helped the Lakers to get the win in overtime.
The Lakers were able to maintain a lead for most of the match that was equaled by the Clippers many times. However, in the final quarter when the Lakers were leading ahead, the LA Clippers tied up at the last moment and forced the game to carry onwards in overtime.
King James also collected 12 rebounds and helped his team recover the 19-point difference to grab the victory. Despite his lack of playtime in the previous games, LeBron displayed his best form against their city rivals.
From the Clippers’ side, Paul George displayed his skills and gave out a great performance scoring 35 points. He was the player to make the final shot with 57 seconds left in the game to tie the score and force overtime. The Lakers won with a final score of 130-125.
