The WWE Hall of Famer Undertaker has been kept busy since his “Last Ride” in 2020, making sporadic appearances most recently at WrestleMania 40. When he said recently that this WrestleMania gave him the gratifying conclusion he had been hoping for, many assumed he could be going to retire completely.
However, having just inked a new agreement with WWE, it seems The Undertaker isn’t entirely ready to leave the organization just yet.
With an amazing record that includes several titles, The Undertaker enjoys an incredible career in WWE spanning three decades. Though he hadn’t wrestled for a while, he made an incredible appearance at WM 40 with a Chokeslam that left an impression that would not soon be forgotten. Recently, he’s kept fans in the loop with news from PWInsider Elite that he’s signed a new contract with WWE.
According to a PWInsider report, the Deadman has reportedly signed a new Legends deal with WWE, ensuring his continued presence in the wrestling world. The deal was signed around the time of WrestleMania 40, but not many details are known about it yet. Nonetheless, the news isn’t entirely surprising, given The Phantom of WrestleMania’s longstanding association with WWE.
In an exciting ending to WrestleMania, he crashed the Bloodline’s party by disrupting The Rock’s dominance in the final match. Now that his new contract is in place, we can expect a further confrontation between them, particularly since The Deadman has bravely answered The Final Boss’s threat.
The Undertaker claps back at the Rock’s challenge
Following WrestleMania, The Rock took to his Instagram to update fans on his health and address the havoc wreaked by The Undertaker. He left a message for the Hall of Fame by saying, “I’ll see you down the road, my friend. Paybacks a bitch for you – but fun for me.”
The legendary Undertaker, famed for his 21-match WrestleMania winning streak, didn’t back down when The Rock called him out. In response to the stern warning from The Final Boss, he fired back with a clear message, noting, “The party doesn’t start until I walk in… I’m not hard to find!”
