The German giants will face Lazio in the next game, which will be the second leg of their Round of 16 fixture in the Champions League. They already lost the first game at Lazio with 1 goal behind. If they cannot win the next game, this will mean Bayern will be out of the Champions League early this season.

Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has said that Tuchel will not be sacked until the Lazio game. If Bayern do not get into the next stage of the UCL, then the 50-year-old will be promptly sacked.
Bayern have no immediate candidate in mind to replace Tuchel right now, and they may be forced to contend with him until the end of the season. They are only thinking about which manager to appoint at the end of the season.

Under the reign of Thomas Tuchel, Bayern have not been performing well at all this season according to their lofty standards. The Bavarians have not lost the Bundesliga title for the last decade, last losing in 2012 to Dortmund.
