Three Real Madrid youth players reportedly arrested over alleged sexual video shoot of an underage girl and sharing it

In recent times, big clubs in Europe have clamped down on illicit practices, especially those involving sexual offences. On Thursday, reports emerged that the Civil Guard had arrested three youth players from Real Madrid on allegations just as grave.

The arrests were related to an alleged case involving the disclosure of sexually explicit content. Additionally, another individual connected to the investigation was reportedly questioned.

Reports in Spain state that three Real Madrid players have been arrested on allegations of sharing a sex tape involving an underage teenage girl. Additionally, it is claimed that law enforcement authorities believe several other individuals associated with the club could be linked to the incident. However, it is crucial to note that this information is based on reports and may be subject to investigation and legal proceedings.

According to El Confidential, the Real Madrid youngsters were arrested after one of them filmed his sexual encounter with an underage girl and sent it to others.

Speaking on the arrest, a spokesman for the Civil Guard in Gran Canaria stated, “A mother accompanied by her daughter under the age of 16 has reported to police in Santa Maria de GuĂ­a in Las Palmas province in Gran Canaria that there are supposedly some recordings of her daughter’s consensual sexual relations, which were recorded without her consent and which she now knows are being circulated.”

“The events that occurred in the town of Mogan date back to mid-June, but she said she has now learned these images exist.”, the spokesperson added.

Speaking further on the arrest, the authorities stated, “For this reason, Court 3 in San Bartolome de Tirajana has ordered the Civil Guard to make several people available to the court.” Meanwhile, the Real Madrid youngsters have been released on bail.

What punishment Real Madrid players to receive when found guilty?

Real Madrid, in response to the Civil Guard in Gran Canaria, issued their official statement, “Real Madrid wishes to announce that it has learned that a Castilla player and three Real Madrid C players have made statements to the Civil Guard in relation to a complaint about the alleged broadcasting of a private video via WhatsApp.”

“When the club has detailed knowledge of the facts, we will take the appropriate measures.”

Diario AS, a Spanish outlet, has published that the suspects, may face a few years in prison if they are found guilty of the crime they are accused of.

“If the victim has not consented to the recording of the video, article 197.1 of the Criminal Code provides for a penalty of one to four years in prison and a fine of 12 to 24 months for whoever recorded the video. The sentence will be increased, according to article 197.3, with a penalty of two to five years in prison if, in addition to the recording, they have proceeded to disseminate the video. In both cases, these penalties will be increased if the victim is a minor (article 197.5 of the Criminal Code).”, the report read.

However, the matter is still in its early stages of investigation as Real Madrid and the Civil Guard proceed with the legal procedures.
