Three-time F1 champ Max Verstappen evokes George Best, Lionel Messi comparisons for on-track brilliance

Max Verstappen, the Hulk of the Formula Industry, is currently having the ultimate dominance era, having back-to-back podiums with consecutive wins.

The Dutchman is the literal definition of sportsmanship, without any lack of training or motivation. When on the ground, his confidence outshines all the other drivers present there.

Eddie Jordan draws parallels between Max Verstappen and football greats

Verstappen has clinched his third championship title, as predicted by the audience. The Dutchman has been fierce with his RB19, breaking several records, and recreating history in the World of Formula One.

His skills are considered inhumane as such perfection is very rare to exist among drivers. At a very young age, “Mad Max” has achieved what half of the oldest drivers haven’t achieved it. Red Bull is simply honoured to have such a rare gem on their team.

His dedication to dominance is considered unreal as said by many experts in the Industry. Verstappen has a hunger for victories, which cannot be diminished until and unless his last drop of energy ends, which is not anytime soon.

Due to his uncompromising talent, Eddie Jordan, the former F1 team owner has compared him to George Best, but without the alcohol.

He said “To put everything into context, it’s George Best without the alcohol, without the birds, without this and that. This guy is in a different league and we have to own up to that.”

He further compares him to iconic football legends such as Lionel Messi by saying, “Sometimes you look at Messi and you think ‘My God, how did he score that goal?’ Forget Ronaldo for a moment, or Maradona.”

Verstappen wrapped up third F1 world championship in style at Qatar GP

The Red Bull Racer has broken the record by having a triple win Of the Formula One Championship at a very young age. It was Verstappen’s 14th Victory out of 17 Grand Prix.

Previously, he needed only six points to secure the title as he has won 13 out of 16 Grand Prix and two from the Sprint Races. He wrapped the entire session with his unique style.

When asked about his success, the Dutchman said  “The first one was the most emotional, that’s when your dreams are fulfilled,” he explained.

“This has been my best year. I always try to be better every race weekend I go to … that’s why I think this year performance-wise is the best one. The middle one is now the middle one.”

It was not an easy victory considering the brutal conditions of the weather in Qatar; however, the young star overcame all  the obstacles and grabbed his victory at the Sprint Race.
