Throwback: WWE star Alexa Bliss pinned Randy Orton and got his wife enraged 3 years ago

Alexa Bliss has been out of active competition for some time. Her last match saw her compete against Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s title in the 2023 Royal Rumble. Right after that match, she became a mother, giving birth to a boy, and many WWE stars congratulated her.

Bliss is one of the most dominant female wrestlers in WWE and one of her greatest achievements is pinning ‘The Apex Predator’ Randy Orton during her ‘Harley Quinn of WWE’ phase three years ago, which caught the attention of Randy’s wife, who was enraged with how it was done.

Randy Orton got pinned by Alexa Bliss made his wife furious

Randy Orton and late WWE star Bray Wyatt had a great rivalry back in 2021. Both superstars faced off multiple times. During Fastlane 2021, Alexa Bliss was scheduled to fight against the master of ‘RKO’. Surprisingly, Alexa defeated the 46-year-old star, after ‘The Fiend’ interfered and she became the first woman ever to pin the 14-times champion on a pay-per-view event.

‘Little Miss Bliss’ pinned her opponent in a rather R-rated manner, which enraged Randy’s wife with how it was executed on live TV. Right after that, Kim Orton took to social media and said that “Bliss had f***ed up” when she pinned her husband like that. Although it was a part of their WWE storyline at that time, some fans found that moment to be quite entertaining.

Alexa Bliss, during a segment with BT Sport’s What Went Down, said, “Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have a match with Randy Orton. Never in a million years. You know what, I have to say this might be one of my favorite matches I’ve ever done. This was cool. This was a super fun match. I feel like this has to be one of my favorites.”

Why is Alexa Bliss inactive for WWE right now?

Alexa Bliss has held multiple championships in WWE on both brands, RAW and SmackDown, over the past couple of years. Her performance in the storyline associated with ‘The Fiend’ aka Bray Wyatt, showed the true nature of her talent, where she portrayed a psychotic character who was willing to do anything to achieve her goals.

In early 2023, Bliss had her last match in Royal Rumble and after that, she got to know about her pregnancy. She expressed how this was the perfect time for her to take a break as she was currently not involved in any storyline and the creative team was still working on possible directions, so she took a break from the in-ring activity for some time and got her newborn baby boy, Hendrix Rouge Cabrera.

During an interview with People, she said, “ [WWE] extended my contract, and so it’s just basically come back when I’m ready. Probably a month after the baby, I’ll start probably getting back into the gym, and getting ready for to see what my in-ring return looks like .”
