Tom Brady’s storied career praised by Colts owner Jim Irsay in Frankfurt kickoff lead-up: “Not from this planet”

From an unknown sixth-round draft pick to being a six-time Super Bowl winner, Tom Brady embellished his fame in such a way that his name was enough to strike fear in the rival team. Many quarterbacks will come and go, yet the footmarks Brady left for his successors will be unmatchable in some instances.

Though the NFL legend left the football world for good, time by time his accolades still bring his name into the headlines and in this case, the Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Isray was the latest one to recall Brady’s legacy in the league.

Irsay hails Tom Brady’s Super Bowl success

This is the first season that the FL community is deprived of being spellbound by seeing Tom Brady’s footing while the recently retired player left the New England Patriots many years ago. Birthday-less floundering Patriots team already is under fire for which even the rumors of firing Bill Belichick once circulated on the air.

Though it was dismissed after the contract extension deal of the head coach was brought to light, the team’s struggles still persist. Amid these, they are set to battle against the Colts in Frankfurt on Sunday.

During TB12’s era, one of his biggest rivals was the former Colts player Peyton Manning.  Prior to the game, Jim Isray could not resist recalling the memories from the storied rivalry between the duo in which he sees Tom Terrific as an alien, bolstered with the mastery that no one can imagine surpassing.

“I came to find out that Tom was not from this planet. And he still refuses to be tested for his outer space roots. … What Tom’s done with the Super Bowl victories, it’s hard to put anyone’s career at quarterback up against his.”

‘Seven Super Bowl winner’ is easy to say, yet only the maker of this record knows the level of effort he had to exert to achieve it. Though recently the Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce claimed that Patrick Mahomes is ready to outrun Brady, the tight end himself had admitted that even Mahomes may fall short of matching Tom’s seven Super Bowl winning record.

When was Brady’s first Super Bowl win?

Tom Brady’s footing was first discovered by the New England Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick who paved the way for the player to prove his prowess on the field. By dint of his football IQ and resilience, he quickly ascended and became a starter in his sophomore year.

The first Brady wave came in the 2001 season after sitting behind Drew Bledsoe for almost all of his rookie year. In February 2002, he led Belichick’s team to their first-ever Lombardi trophy after winning Super Bowl XXXVI, per Sky Sports.

Following that, with the 46-year-old, the Patriots team did not have to look back as their former starter took the responsibility to add one-by-one Super Bowl glories to the team’s resume. The stint came to an end after he lingered to change his way of career for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, helping them to win six Super Bowls during his two decades journey.

At the Bucs, Tom Brady again let the NFL world that age was just a number for the quarterback, leading them to win a Lombardy trophy, before ending his NFL journey.

Brady’s stint is nothing less than a sweet dream for the Patriots as they now come to term with reality from their struggle with Mac Jones. Though the fifteen-time Pro-Bowler teased his fans many times with return speculation, the Tom Brady era has seemingly ended forever.
