Tony Khan sidesteps questions regarding Chris Jericho’s sexual harassment allegations

After AEW’s latest Worlds End Pay-Per-View event, the President and CEO of AEW, Tony Khan, spoke to the media about various topics. As expected, he was asked about the safety of the contracted talents, especially given the recent controversy surrounding the sexual harassment allegations against Chris Jericho, which has been a hot topic on the internet.

However, instead of addressing the allegations, the CEO of the promotion expressed his belief that AEW is the safest place in all of professional wrestling.

Tony Khan reacts to s*xual harassment controversy

On the morning of AEW Worlds End, Chris Jericho unintentionally became the center of attention due to the allegations involving him and Kylie Rae. These allegations caused a stir on the internet. In response to these allegations, Tony Khan addressed the issue of harassment in his company.

At the media briefing after AEW Worlds End, Tony Khan was questioned about allegations of sexual harassment. He subtly defended his company by stating that AEW is a safe workplace where employees can approach him with any issues they may have.

“It’s a great question, Kevin, and I think it applies to everyone in the company, women and men, and it’s something we’re very serious about. We have a policy in place, and I think that any time there’s anything like that, we will make sure that we do everything we can to prevent it. I believe AEW has the best safety record of any pro wrestling company in the world. We have a safe environment. I believe we have the safest environment out of any pro wrestling company in the world,” said Tony Khan.

The CEO of AEW has claimed that his wrestling promotion is the safest among all other pro wrestling promotions. He also mentioned that he is always available to help any wrestler from his promotion who faces a problem. Additionally, he stated that all members of the roster have direct access to the disciplinary committee.

“I would hold the record of AEW on safety against any pro wrestling company in the world, and I believe that AEW is the safest place for pro wrestling. If any of our wrestlers ever have a concern, they always have an open line to talk to me. I believe that anyone could tell you that they are free to come and talk to me at any time they are concerned about anything,” said Tony Khan.

CM Punk’s lawyer reacts to Tony Khan’s “fearing for his life” claims

CM Punk’s exit from AEW was controversial as he got into a heated argument with his boss before being let go. This incident was widely discussed by wrestling fans for several weeks and continues to make headlines. Stephen P. New was the attorney representing Punk and Ace Steel during the messy situation.

As he handled things from Punk’s perspective, he had a lot to say about the matter. During an interview on “Rumor & Innuendo,” Stephen P. New was asked if there were any non-compete clauses attached to Punk’s release, but he was unable to provide an answer.

“I can’t really speak to that with respect to Punk. What I can say is that the contracts vary for whether or not non-competes remain in place, the types of terminations, and that sort of thing. In terms of him specifically, there is no way I can get into that,” said Stephen P. New.

Tony Khan announced that Punk’s contract has been terminated, citing cause for the decision. The termination was a result of a backstage incident at the AEW All In event involving Punk and Jack Perry. During the incident, Tony was concerned about his safety and expressed that Punk’s actions not only threatened him but also put others in danger.

It has been reported that Stephen P. New was questioned about Tony Khan expressing his apprehension about his life, to which he replied that Tony was free to express his feelings. Stephen said, “He’s welcome to comment on however he feels about whatever.”
