The trailer for John Cena’s new movie, ‘Vacation Friends 2’ is out, and the Cenation Leader looks almost unrecognizable in the movie. This movie is a sequel to ‘Vacation Friends’, which came out in 2021. However, for the sequel Cena completely changed his look, which startled a lot of his fans.
The 16-time World Champion has found huge success in Hollywood after having a successful career in WWE, starring in movies like Bumblebee, Peacemaker, The Suicide Squad and F9. As a result, Cena has been mostly absent from WWE, appearing only one or twice a year. This year, he fought against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 and made an appearance at Money In The Bank 2023.

The trailer to the hit 2021 movie called Vacation Friends has been officially released a month before it comes out on Hulu, and in the movie, Cena plays the role of a character named Ron. The movie seems to pick off a few months after where the first movie ended. Newly married couple Marcus and Emily invite their also newly married friends, Ron and Kyla to join them for a vacation when Marcus lands an all-expenses paid trip to a Caribbean resort.
The reason why he was travelling there in the first place was to meet the owners of a resort to bid on a construction contract. However, when Kyla’s father is released from prison in San Quentin, he shows up at the resort completely unannounced, which ruins Marcus’ perfectly laid out plans. Things quickly gets out of control and the whole things turns chaotic in no time. From the looks of it, the movie definitely has the potential to be even better than the first movie. All the main characters from the first movie reunite in the second one, which aims to be even crazier than the first one.

In the trailer, what actually caught the fans’ attention was the fact that John Cena looked really different in the movie. People are really used to seeing John Cena with a clean-shaven face. However in the movie, Cena had quite a bit of facial hair, which made him stand out the most. Some fans even compared him to the American basketball player, Trae Young for the similarities in their facial hair.

It’s good to see Cena change up his looks for the sake of a role. This marked the first time that John Cena ever changed his looks for a movie. Although most fans were cracking up seeing Cena with a beard, some even refused to believe that it was actually him. After all these years, the Cenation Leader has established himself as a versatile actor, who can tackle any role with ease.
Cena once said that he originally didn’t want to do movies, and that his transition to Hollywood was merely a decision from the upper management. They wanted to establish Cena as a big star, so that he could feature in the WWE films and gain some traction. However, it eventually turned out to be pretty well for John Cena, who is a huge name in Hollywood these days.
