Triple H teases major WWE Day 1 appearance

Day 1 WWE RAW is a special episode of Monday Night RAW that was announced by the WWE on the 12th December episode of RAW. There were rumors speculating that a former WWE Champion is returning to the event. Triple H addressed the WWE Universe in social media by adding, “Not going to confirm or deny the rumors of a former @WWE Champion appearing at #WWERaw Day One… but I will say to stay tuned. New Year’s Day, 8pm ET on @USANetwork”.

This statement from the Game has increased expectation among the WWE fans. As recent days the ratings of WWE are sky rocketing with the arrival of CM Punk, who returned to WWE in the Survivor Series after 10 years. With Punk’s return excitement has not been over yet even after a month, the Game has further increased the hype among the fans with this statement.

Wrestling fans predict WWE Raw Day 1 unnamed appearance

Following Triple H’s statement, fans started speculating about which superstars might make a comeback at WWE Day 1. There are reports suggesting that WWE is planning to bring back Batista, also known as The Animal, to induct him into the Hall of Fame in 2024. Batista was scheduled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020, but unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Batista announced retirement from wrestling and recent photos of Batista shows he has lost more weights to focus on his acting carrier. So, if Batista is returning he will not compete in any matches, but only to be in the Hall Of Fame

Fans also predict that The People’s Champion, The Rock will show up on the Day 1 as a surprise. Last year, Rock has been rumored to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. But this year fans expect that Rock will return and confront Reigns for the title at the WWE Day 1.

WWE Day 1 features an exciting match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, where Rollins will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This match comes after their recent encounter at the WWE Live show at MSG. Mami Rhea Ripley is scheduled to defend the Women’s World Championship against Ivy Nile.

Day 1 of WWE RAW promises to be an exhilarating and action-packed show, setting the stage for an incredible start to the new year for WWE fans. The event will be aired live on USA Network and Peacock at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.
