Triple H Drops hints About The Rock’s Future WWE Appearances

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s return to WWE earlier this year was unforgettable. He wowed fans as a good guy first and then as an interesting bad guy leading up to WrestleMania. While remembering their time working together during The Rock’s previous run with the organization, Triple H of WWE offered some thoughts on The Rock’s potential future appearances.

Speaking to the Sports Business Journal, Triple H discussed The Rock’s involvement in the events leading up to WrestleMania 40 and dropped hints about a potential return to the ring. He expressed his excitement about working with the world-renowned superstar, noting that The Rock is sincere about wanting to make a comeback in WWE. Triple H lauded The Rock for putting his heart and soul into the brand and, hence, improving the fan experience.

In answer to a question on The Rock’s possible comeback, Triple H gave fans hope that more thrilling moments are on the horizon for WWE. He said, “So his coming in, just across the board, if you had told me in the beginning of the conversation that we we’re going to get the ‘Final Boss’ heel version of The Rock, I would have said ‘you’re crazy,’ but that’s his level of commitment. He goes off, he makes a few movies now and as he said a week ago, he’ll be back and it’ll be a hell of a ride when he comes back.”

Anticipation was high for WrestleMania 40 to be an unforgettable event, and Paul Levesque didn’t disappoint in delivering excitement for wrestling fans. WWE is clearly embarking on a new age of entertainment under his leadership. Even Becky Lynch has shared her agreement with this sentiment, showing that big things are happening in the wrestling world.

WWE Superstar details huge improvements under Triple H’s leadership

As a result of Triple H’s visionary leadership, WWE has transformed, particularly after its merger with UFC. A number of people, including Becky Lynch, have spoken highly of the direction the firm has taken since Triple H took over as chief content officer. There will never again be the same lack of continuity or last-minute changes to creative ideas as there were under Vince McMahon.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, The Man claimed Triple H’s leadership has contributed stability and originality to the company. She explained, “I think it is the leadership that we have right now and that things are thought out. Because it was no secret that before the show would be rewritten as it was going on (…) It wasn’t unheard of for them to have a show on paper and we’d show up and Vince would tear it up and we’d start from scratch (….) And now with Hunter in charge, he has a vision. He sees it through and that’s what you need for a TV show (…) So I think that’s been a huge change.”

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
