Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon intervened to save their father, but the Apex Predator put them down with an RKO. Triple H refrained from taking action at first. However, after his wife got attacked ‘The Game’ took it personally.

Their rivalry became one of the greatest highlights of that year, with an iconic moment for fans being when Randy handcuffed Triple H and executed a DDT on his wife. Following the move, he kissed her right in front of her husband. Right after that Hunter Hearst Helmsley, decided to attack Orton at the most unexpected place, his home, and destroyed him before their title bout.

Triple H initiated his rivalry with Orton after the latter defeated Chris Benoit in Summerslam 2004, becoming the youngest World Champion. Following this achievement, the 54-year-old superstar expelled Orton from Evolution and faced him at Unforgiven 2004.
