After kicking off his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs as Patrick Mahomes’ best target, Tyreek Hill’s career seemed to be all set until he demanded a trade from the Chiefs. Meanwhile, the receiver then turned into a formidable weapon for the Miami Dolphins’ while harboring the same sentiments for his former team that even garnered the attention of his fans.
Following stirring speculations regarding his potential Dolphin’s exit, the former Chiefs Super Bowl-winning receiver has again stolen the limelight with a daunting challenge towards popular boxer turned YouTuber Jake Paul.
Tyreek Hill wants potential Jake Paul bout
Reports from Dolphin Nation suggest that Tyreek Hill is considering entering the boxing ring, and when asked about his desired opponent, he singled out Jake Paul.
“I don’t know,” Hill said. “I think my first fight need to be like Jake Paul or something’ like that.”
Just a few days ago, IShow Speed showed his eagerness to beat Cheetah in a race, expressing his firm determination in spite of knowing Hill’s records in speed. Nevertheless, this time, the Dolphin’s receiver, who always boasts of his speed, himself shared his fierce attitude to beat Pal, as he thought Paul was not as tough to deal with as he looked.
“I don’t think so, bro,” he responded when he was asked about Paul’s toughness.
The former Chief’s receiver wasted no time asserting his prowess in the boxing ring, saying, “I grew up boxin”.
The 29-year-old’s interest in a boxing match with Paul isn’t new. In May 2023, during an appearance on the Totally Offensive podcast, the wide receiver first revealed his intentions to challenge Paul to a boxing match upon his retirement. “
“Jake Paul, Tyreek Hill, so, 2025 if I retire, I’m challenging you to a boxing match. This ain’t Le’Veon Andrew Bell, it’s Cheetah, baby!”
Even earlier than that, when Jake Paul invited Hill to his “BS w/ Jake Paul” podcast, Hill expressed his interest in pursuing a boxing career, indicating that the idea had been on his mind for some time.
Jake Paul visited Dolphins practice session back in 2022
During their 2022 training camp, the Miami Dolphins received a surprising visit from an unlikely trio: renowned boxer Jake Paul, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, and former NFL general manager Rick Spielman. This diverse group of sports figures injected the training ground with an air of excitement. Players exchanged surprised glances and smiles, their usual focus momentarily replaced by curiosity and amusement.
One standout visitor was none other than Jake Paul, who made waves with his presence on the football field. While primarily known for his boxing career and social media influence, Paul couldn’t resist the opportunity to test his skills on the gridiron. As Dolphins’ starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa delivered passes, Paul showcased his agility and wide receiver moves, eager to make an impression.

Despite his enthusiasm, Paul’s stint on the football field didn’t quite go as planned as he struggled to connect with Tagovailoa’s passes. Actually, it showed us the vast difference between boxing and football.
While Paul may excel in the ring and on social media platforms, the football field proved to be a different arena altogether.
