Colby Covington roasts Ian Garry and wife Layla
Colby Covington’s beef with Ian Garry started when the Irishman questioned the credentials of Covington. Things took a turn when Garry and his wife, Layla Anna-Lee, came at the center of controversy and Covington slut-shamed Anna-Lee.
Garry called out Covington after the Irishman defeated Geoff Neal at UFC 298 to which Covington recently responded in his signature style via social media. Covington gave three stipulations for a fight to materialize between them to which Garry responded with an ‘I Quit’ fight challenge.
It did not take Covington long to respond as he did it with his signature style again. “We all saw your cringey ass video, Ian, and the ‘do what you’re told’ line only works when you’re the A-side or Conor McGregor, not Corner McGregor, you fucking cuck,” said Covington in his recent social media video as he went on to demean Garry’s wife as he called for a ‘participation price.’
“The only thing you’re famous for is parading around a nutritionist’s sloppy seconds like she’s Miss Universe. She’s a four at best,” Covington further added as he urged Garry to follow through with the three stipulations he put forth, or he would be fighting a higher-ranked opponent than Garry.
Why is Ian Garry’s wife not respected in UFC community?
Ian Garry’s wife has been the main reason for the Irish fighter’s negative reception in the UFC community. Garry’s wife, Layla Anna-Lee is British-Brazilian and is 14 years older than her husband. Moreover, she has a kid with his ex-husband, Richard Cullen, who is the Performance Nutritionist of Garry.
A section of the MMA media leaked this unique relationship dynamic which made fans and fighters speculate that Garry is a ‘cuck’ in a three-way relationship with Anna-Lee and Cullen. Moreover, Anna-Lee authored a book titled ‘How to be a WAG’ which made fans and fighters speculate that she is a ‘gold digger’ as per LowKick MMA.
The book was satirical, but nobody was willing to read it and they assumed it to be a guidebook for gold diggers. Sean Strickland and Colby Covington were at the forefront for disrespecting Anna-Lee.
Ian Garry even threatened to sue Sean Strickland for defamation after the American’s social media video post demeaned Anna-Lee. The social media insults by fans and fighters even made the couple turn off the comments section.
