The “Quarterback” Netflix docuseries featuring three legendary NFL quarterbacks, Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota, has managed to garner criticism for the players while also inspiring new fans to support them.
The series on television quite succinctly described and provided a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes activities of the Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowl QB. The superstar received a lot of mockery for one of the featured scenes where he was dressed for the sidelines.
Kirk Cousins’ sideline attire sees brutal ridicule from the NFL community
The docuseries offers an inside look at Cousins’ 2022 season where there are plenty of memorable moments of his on-field and off-field life. The eight episodes of the series unfolded a different Kirk before the NFL world.
An excerpt from a preseason game versus the Seattle Seahawks in the series also demonstrated the player’s commitment and enthusiasm to perform. Although not participating in the preseason opener, he was dressed for action with a helmet, jersey, and uniform pants lacking pads.
The clip brought about a pile of ridicule for Cousins for his attire. One comment read, “Kirk Cousins wearing a helmet all game is the most Kirk Cousins thing ever”.

The 34-year-old appeared ready to jump on the field at any time bringing another comment, “Gotta be ready when you get called up to the big stage”.
Another netizen mentioned his attire as a dress-up for Halloween, “Kirk Cousins looks like a kid dressed up as Kirk Cousins for Halloween”.

The star football player seems to have acquired a sizable fan base for his outstanding tenure with the Vikings even amidst this mild mockery.
Netflix ‘Quarterback’ documentary makes Vikings’ Kirk Cousins look good
Although on the field the Vikings great still isn’t able to collect as much applause as his Chiefs counterpart, the series brought Kirks’ name with Mahomes. In spite of leading his club to 13 victories and winning the NFC North division last season, he claimed to be the league’s least-valued quarterback, a claim Pat also made.
Regardless of the fact that he is a middle schooler, the “Quarterback” series intensely tried to cement his position in the hearts of NFL fans. The great Vikings quarterback was shown as being highly driven and intensely focused while playing throughout his injury-prone career, with some of his best plays coming in the Vikings’ dramatic 39-36 victory over the Indianapolis Colts and Week 9 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
