Real Madrid’s star player Vinicius Jr. recently got a tattoo to pay homage to his icons as he immortalized them on his back. He got a tattoo of the great Michael Jordan, the Black Mamba Kobe Bryant, the boxing legend Muhammad Ali, and the soccer legend Pele.
The tattoo looks spectacular with Kobe in the center and MJ in a shooting pose in the bottom right. The word “Mentality” is also inked at the very bottom of the art signifying the common winners’ mentality all of the legends on his back had.
Vinicius is among the fastest-growing superstars in the world right now. He is a great talent that has been proving himself in one of the best leagues with the best teams. There is no doubt that legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe inspired him as they all had that strong mentality which is necessary if someone wants to make it to the very top of any professional sports.
Jordan has always been very supportive of other professional athletes. He even once shared some wise words of wisdom with Julian Edelman before the Super Bowl which really helped him.
Fans point out glaring mistake with the Jordan tattoo
The Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. got his tattoo from a very special tattoo artist who is quite popular among professional athletes. Vini was on vacation to the States and was enjoying the NBA when he decided to get his spectacular back tattoo. He commissioned Ganga who has tattooed many stars such as Drake, Alcaraz, and LeBron James with the task to immortalize his icons on his back.
The art done by Ganga is spectacular but there is one mistake that is very obvious to the hardcore NBA fans and to the people who watched the legendary Michael Jordan play in front of their eyes.
MJ is right-handed and has mostly shot all of his shots using his right hand. However, in the tattoo on Vini’s back, Jordan can be seen shooting left-handed. Fans have not let this glaring mistake slip by and have called it out on social media. But now that the tattoo is done, and it cannot be changed easily. Nevertheless, the masterpiece looks great even if MJ is shooting left-handed.
