When did Toby Keith appear on WWE RAW?

Toby Keith made a surprising appearance as a guest star on the October 25, 2010, episode of Monday Night RAW. In that episode the “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” singer was seen in a segment with The Bella Twins, Santino Marella, and Sheamus.

Keith was first seen with Brie Bella and former Divas Champion Nikki Bella backstage, where he gifted them his album and The Bella Twins later gave him his own Electrovision Championship title as a return ‘Thank You’ gift.

After that, Santino Marella came to greet the music superstar, where he shared that he was a hip-hop fan at first but later Toby made him into a Country music lover. Santino even went as far as to sing a song for Keith, but ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus interrupted the moment. He challenged Santino Marella to a match, which he had to accept reluctantly.

Sadly the icon recently passed away at the age of 62 on February 5th. WWE later shared the news from their official Twitter. The post read, “WWE is saddened to learn that country music star and former Raw guest host Toby Keith has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Keith’s family, friends, and fans.”

Toby Keith rejected the White House invitation in favor of TNA

Toby Keith was a music sensation back in his time. The singer got global recognition from the “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American)” song. Keith was once invited to The White House to play a concert of patriotic music.

However, Toby rejected the White House invitation as his good friend ‘Double J’ Jeff Jarrett invited him to attend a major event for TNA wrestling. During an interview, Keith was asked why he rejected the invitation to which he said, “I’ve already committed to Jeff to do a wrestling event in Huntsville and I can’t be there.”

TNA also released a statement on Twitter following the legend’s death. The post read, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of country music legend Toby Keith – who appeared on the very first TNA event. We offer our condolences to his friends and family.”

The singer was diagnosed with stomach cancer and he had been fighting the disease for several years. Later in 2022, he announced his diagnosis, and fans were saddened by the news. This year Toby Keith unfortunately succumbed to his illness and died surrounded by both family and friends.
