Apart from San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns’ pregame brawl, the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers also could not maintain their excitement and tensions and involved in a brawl.

A hilarious occurrence was observed involving the LA Austin Ekeler during these heated occasions. The fans, meantime, were drawn to the situation and were quick to respond with wit and humor, proving that comedy can have a place even in chaotic situations.

In Week 6, the 3-2 Cowboys took on the 2-2 Chargers. The players on both sides were already under a lot of pressure to win and take the lead for their teams in their division. Hence, they could not hold their breath and wait for the first whistle of the game. 

The fight broke out during the time that is usually set for teams to warm up and relax before kickoff as the Cowboys were passing the Chargers during their routine.

A scuffle involving players from both teams happened around, setting off a pregame brawl. As emotions ran high, what started off as a little altercation quickly turned into a full-fledged brawl. A physical altercation with pushing and shouting ensued as a result of escalating emotions.

Chargers running back Austin Ekeler was ensnared in the center of the fight amid these. It appears that the RB was punched by an unidentified person, causing his helmet to come off. Fortunately, the Chargers player didn’t have any injury issues to miss any playing time, thus the altercation didn’t seem to have any impact on him.

The spectators were taken aback by this sudden altercation, even though warming up session is normally arranged to help lower the players risk of injury and give them the proper mindset before a game. “#NFL how are you allowing these players to participate after this?!,” tagging the NFL’s official page, one fan shared his astonishment as no ejections were announced after the incident ended and the game also placed in order.

The crowd seemed to find the Ekelers incident to be the most entertaining among the heated exchanges. With the incident, they persisted in bringing their distinct and lively sense of humor, making sure that every moment, both on and off the field, is greeted with a dash of comedy and good times.

Though the winner of the pregame brawl remained undeclared, the Dallas Cowboys were able to take the revenge later on the field with a sound 17-20 victory over the Chargers.

“Tough night for the Chargers after losing to the Cowboys at home,” perhaps a comment from a Cowboys fan, throwing shot on the Chargers fans.
